This past labor day, Zach's sister, Gabi, and her family- Jason and Shawn, came into town for a visit. It was great to get the cousins together again for a visit. The weather was great that weekend- low 90's with a breeze, so on Sunday, we took advantage of the cooler temps and ventured out to the Fort Worth Zoo. It's a great zoo- set up very well with lots of shade and the animal exhibits are beautiful with waterfalls, streams, and natural looking habitats. In fact, it's ranked as one of the top 10 zoos in America! It's great to have this great zoo less than 5 minutes from our house. Luke loved being outside, and Shawn (3 yrs old) loved seeing all the new animals and trying to make some of the animal sounds.
